The Feast & Fire Supper Club
Coombe Trenchard's Feast & Fire Supper Club celebrates life: interesting company, delicious food, great wine and the kind of atmospheric evenings that memories are made of . Each Feast & Fire supper will be inspired by the changing seasons around us, and wherever possible will be enjoyed outside within the sprawling elegance of Coombe Trenchard's grounds . If weather dictates, the feast will be held in our beautifully restored Coach House, with its transparent roof and cosy snug area around the woodburner.
Celebrate the temporal nature of our divine Devonshire countryside as we journey from Spring awakening to Summer's haze, Autumn's rust to Winter's icy breath, delighting in the connections found to delicious seasonal dishes and the transitioning world around us. A unique dining experience nestled within the Edwardian charm of Coombe Trenchard, there is magic to be found amongst the illuminated trees, crackling fires and tor-lined horizon.
Curating a menu of our favourite feast-worthy dishes, alongside carefully chosen wines and lavish styling culminates in an intimate evening of spirited conversation and open-air enthralment under the stars.

Autumn Feast & Fire Supper Club
Saturday 14th October 2017
We’re not sure there’s anything more atmospheric than being outside in Autumn’s golden glow. Surrounded by nature’s warmest tones, encased in a scarf and feeling that satisfying crunch of leaves underfoot: it’s a time to savour and celebrate the transition happening all around us. Building on the success of our Summer Feast & Fire Club evening, we’d like to welcome you to Coombe Trenchard as the leaves are changing and the air starts to smell smokey.
Our Autumn Feast & Fire menu has been inspired by the change of the seasons and the abundance of the English harvest. Incorporating dishes from plough to plate and sea to shore it will be a modern interpretation of nature’s most colourful bounty. Using traditional methods of cooking and preserving, an array of locally sourced produce will be prepared for your feasting delight, surrounded by the trees and rustling leaves of Coombe Trenchard. Not forgetting the oldest of Devon's tradition, that of sipping cider (or wine from local vineyards!).
Renowned Master Florist and RHS Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medallist Amanda Randell will be creating a very special installation (join her workshop and make a day of it) that celebrates the spectacular colours and bountiful nature of this most beautiful season, set to add another magical element to a memorable evening under the stars. Shrug off reality and step into a Autumnal bubble, complete with delicious food and roaring fires.
Gardens open at 6:30pm, feast starts from 7:30pm onwards...
